We take the safety of your kids very seriously at Northway Kids. When you check in, you and your child will receive matching security tags which will be needed when you pick up your child. Our NKM volunteers are background checked and trained and we also have security team members in the halls during services.
In addition, make sure to pick up a card at check in that tells you where to pick up your child in case of an emergency. We have a plan and we always want you to know the plan as well.
1. On your first visit, plan to arrive 5 minutes early, if possible, so there is plenty of time to register your child.
2. When you arrive at Kids check in, one of our wonderful volunteers will assist you in the check-in process.
3. You and your child will receive matching security tags which will be needed when you pick up your child later that morning.
4. A Kids Ministry greeter will escort you to your child’s small group room which is also where you will pick up your child at the end of the service
For all first-time guests, we ask for a parent cell phone at check-in. We will text you during the service if there is any concern about your child. Also, be on the lookout for your security code [that you were given on your parent tag] on the screen. If we have a need, we will put your security code on the screen

We will note any information you give us about allergies or special needs when you check in and make every accommodation we can. Our NKM rooms are nut-free, and we post any snacks we’re serving outside the classroom door.
